I'm with you on this one Colin.....I don't want to see Cammy sign an extension.

But the question is starting to become...how the F are the Flames gonna make the cap floor next year if they don't?

I think you give Kyper too much credit. He makes poop up all the time. And like you mentioned it could be he is being used to try to generate some interest. I don't think the interest is as high as Flames fans think.

And imo it would be a mistake to re-sign him....

If we resign and keep Cammi then I would expect a Hudler and or GlenX deal. Might make more sense as they are both signed beyond this season to favourable contracts. I certainly wouldn't be upset with that happening and maximizing a return based on Hudler's fantastic year.

The problem I have with that is that Glenx an Hudler are more the types that would be good to build around....not Cammy.

That may be true but it could also be argued that if we get greater returns for Hudler and GlenX than we would for guys like Cammi, that helps more with the rebuild.

If they re up with Cammy I would bet Hudler is gone. At the end of the day I still think Cammy is moved.

We stay the same while the teams below us get better. Who knows, maybe even the Oil improve.
